Content and Code makes the front page
London, UK - 15 July 2008 - Content and Code is pleased to appear
on the front page of CRN's 14th July 2008 Edition.
Content and Code joined Microsoft at the 2008 Worldwide Partner
Conference (WPC) held in Houston, Texas from 7-10 July. At this
conference, Microsoft made a few announcements with respect to
their new offering: software plus services and also introduced a
new partner pricing model, meaning partners that sell either of the
two suites or their component parts will receive 12 per cent of the
first-year contract price and six per cent for every remaining year
of the contract.
Tim Wallis, CEO, Content and Code, is delighted with this new
pricing model and has been engaged in several discussions to
support his thoughts.
A full article and quote from Tim has now been published on the
front page of CRN. The article, entitled 'Microsoft woos VARs with
SaaS pricing shift', highlights announcements made at the WPC as
well as thoughts from Microsoft UK, Softcat and Content and
Code.
Tim Wallis, chief executive of Microsoft partner Content and
Code, said: "Not only will the new model enable us to profit
from annuity revenue streams, the margins are very attractive and
there is a great opportunity for partners to make additional money
from services such as migration and integration and business
process consulting."
