Business Situation
Initially built with no content management system, the GDC website
had become inflexible and out-of-date. Updates required contracting
with costly third-party suppliers. In addition, the website design
didn't effectively direct users from the GDC's four target
audiences to customized content. Instead usersneeded to wade
through levels of navigation to get to the information they needed.
How could the GDC provide substantial online content to four
distinct audience groups through one website?
