Our Solution
Content and Code created a stylish yet accessible website that
distinguishes Avon from other NHS trusts remaining consistent with
the NHS brand. Backed by Microsoft's easy-to-use
Content Management Server,
the improved website elevates critical information to the homepage
along with links to NHS Direct patient advice service. The website
offers Avon a range of opportunities to reach out to different
audiences through targeted homepage messages that can be updated
'on the fly' to respond to internal developments. What's more, the
new website re-packages Avon's content into a more streamlined,
accessible format that offers navigation focused on audience needs
and more accessible content. Finally, two distinct
password-protected extranet features were built so Avon volunteers
could easily access targeted information on secure pages.
As for hosting, Avon chose to use Content and Code's affordable
Outsourcing Service as a way to save costs on technical
infrastructure and maintenance while focus resources on maintaining
up-to-date content. The overall result: a greatly improved,
easily-updated, more accessible and professional web presence and
an improved profile in the community.
