Our Solution
Built using Microsoft Content Management
Server for Intranets, the Alzheimer's Society intranet, Arena,
offered a range of easy-to-use information sharing and
communication features such as distributed publishing, bulletin
boards, staff and office directories, and a searchable policy
archive.
Arena was built and launched in 6 weeks -- an accelerated
schedule necessary to meet a key internal deadline. Content and
Code was able to meet this deadline due to a proprietary store of
pre-defined components that make up our MCMS Product. In this case
bespoke development was minimized substantially reducing overall
development costs.
What's more, Arena is completely outsourced. So instead of devoting
valuable internal resources to system maintenance and development,
the Society can focus its efforts on content publishing and
ensuring that all staff and volunteers have the information they
need to make the biggest impact possible on the problems of
dementia in the UK.
