Ignis Asset Management
Our solution for asset managers Ignis provides improved reporting, governance and collaboration.
Ignis Asset Management manages £69 billion of securities and assets for its investors in UK, European, US, Asia Pacific, global and emerging markets. The company has on average six project managers working on 30 projects at any given time. To better manage their heavy workflow, Ignis wanted to implement enhanced reporting and governance capabilities in their organisation. They also had a need for centralised project workspaces to serve as the ‘home’ of all project information.
Content and Code implemented a Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution for Ignis, with automated project reporting as one of the key features. This was a big improvement on their previous complex and time-consuming manual process. The solution for Ignis Asset Management also includes:
- Project workspaces where team members can collaborate
- Status reports, highlighting performance against budget and key milestones
- Portfolio status dashboards, flagging high-level implications of project performance
- Monthly reports for all members of project teams
All of these features help Ignis gain more clarity of their project portfolio and make better business decisions that are aligned with strategy.
Ignis’ new EPM solution allows for improved collaboration and governance. Staff can access the information they need to perform their jobs in centralised project workspaces. This increased visibility helps them to manage tasks and assign resources to key projects. The company’s reporting has also become more efficient and consistent. The project was such a success that Ignis have asked Content and Code to deploy Microsoft Project 2010 to help their executives align and prioritise projects, initiatives and human and financial resource usage with their business strategy.
